High-Performance Bedding (HPB) is a crushed, washed limestone that is about 1/4″ in size. This product is a self-compacting base material that can be used as a replacement for crushed gravel and screening in patios and walkways. HPB is particularly good for areas with poor drainage as it allows for water to pass through it back into the ground. Used as a ground levelling material or drainage stone. Typically placed behind retaining walls, under floors, in and around pipes or drain tile for sewer and water main applications. Also recommended for golf course greens, French drains, base and levelling course for interlock , catch basins, swimming pools, and under sheds or hot tub pads.
